Voyages through Time and Space in November at the Jordan Planetarium

The Maynard F. Jordan Planetarium takes visitors on trips to the furthest reaches of the universe and back in time to the beginning of life itself in exciting star shows every Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 and Sunday afternoons at 2:00.

If you are worrying about the apocalypse coming at the end of next month, it’s time to see the truth. On Friday, November 2, 16, & 30, and Saturday, November 10 & 24, "2012: Prophecies of the Maya" explores Mayan traditions, timekeeping, culture, and religion to better understand the predictions of doom, and why the end of the world might not be coming as soon as you think.

Alternate Fridays take visitors even further back in time to the very beginning of life and the Earth itself. Featured also are live demonstrations of the search for distant planets orbiting other stars.
