Patriots fans cope with tough loss in championship game

BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) ---The New England Patriots loss Sunday night in the AFC Championship Game was certainly felt by people here in the Bangor area, including many loyal fans of the team as well as many businesses that serve them.

Many stores that sell Patriots gear got a big boost in sales when the team went to the Super Bowl last year. This year that of course won't happen. Bars and restaurants that will be showing the big game are also expecting fewer people to come and out watch.

Still many Patriots fans NEWS CENTER caught up with on Monday say they plan to take in the Super Bowl. However people were divided on who to root for.

Overall many Pats fans said they were disappointed with Sunday's game but added that they are proud of the team this year. Several say they are already looking forward to the start of baseball season and they are also happy that Bruins hockey is back.
