Brewer woman pleads not guilty to deadly hit and run accident | News
BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) --- A woman accused of killing a Bangor man in a hit a run accident last June was back in court on Wednesday.
51-year-old Patricia Giles of Brewer pleaded not guilty to charges of leaving the scene of an accident and falsifying evidence. Authorities say Giles hit 37-year-old Joshua Constantine of Bangor as he was crossing South Main Street on the night of June 2, 2012. The accident happened while a concert was taking place on the Bangor Waterfront.
Investigators say Giles left the scene and then tried to cover up damage to her car. She is currently free on bail and scheduled to be back in court on November 8.
