Taxi driver reportedly robbed at gunpoint in Bangor | News
BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Bangor police are investigating a report of a driver for Dick’s Taxicab Company reportedly being robbed at gunpoint in downtown Bangor Sunday night.
Police say the suspects are described as one male and one female both appearing to be white. The male was in possession of a handgun. Both suspects were dressed in dark winter type coats with the hood of the female’s coat hood being trimmed with fur.
There was a physical struggle between the driver and the male suspect and the victim was injured. The injury does not appear to be serious, police report.
The suspects entered the cab near Third and Union Street and exited the cab near the Main Street Tavern.
