Bangor police seek Gold Star Cleaners robbery suspect

BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Bangor police are searching for a man they say robbed Gold Stars Cleaners back on Wednesday January 12. 

Police say the man is 5 foot 8 inches tall, Caucasian with a medium build. He is approximately 50 or more years old and his skin appeared to be "weathered." He had no glasses and no visible tattoos in the photos police provided.  Police say at the time the suspect was wearing a dark outer jacket with a dark (possibly) black hoodie underneath with blue jeans and a  black, knit hat.

If you know this man, have heard talk of this robbery, have seen this man walking in that area (Third and Union Street in Bangor) or if you have any information, you are urged to contact Bangor police. 

Police do not know if a car was used following the robbery, they believe he walked away from the laundromat shortly before 9 p.m.
