News

HERMON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Maine Drug Enforcement agents say they caught a man from New York trying to bring a large amount of crack cocaine into Hancock County.

MDEA agents say they learned 22-year old Kervin Castillo, who's from the Bronx, was going to bring the drugs in on a Greyhound bus.

They confronted him when he got off in Hermon -- and say he was carrying about 41 grams of crack cocaine base, with a street value of 6 thousand dollars.

Castillo now faces drug trafficking charges.

The MDEA says they are seeing more and more drug traffickers coming to Maine from out of state -- and there may be more arrests coming as part of this investigation.
