Man pleads guilty to OUI charge

BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A man who police said was driving the wrong way on I-95 has pleaded guilty to drunken driving.

Police said Roger O'Neal of Argyle was driving south on the northbound side of I-95 between Medway and Lincoln on Tuesday afternoon when he was pulled over.

Police recorded his blood alcohol content at 0.34 , four times over the legal limit.

O'Neal will spend 10 days in jail, pay a $750 fine, and lose his license for 150 days.

He was also in court for a domestic violence charge, for which he plead no contest.

O'Neal said that he intends to seek help for his drinking problem when he is released.
