"Trick or Treat" at our house!

This Halloween, WLBZ 2 invites you to trick or treat at our studio at 329 Mount Hope Avenue in Bangor.  Stop by on Thursday, October 31 from 4 to 7pm and we'll have a treat for your little ghoul or goblin. 

Plus,we'll take photos of the "little monsters" and post them right here on Around Town.  No tricks-- just treats.  Drop in and give us your best, "Boo!"

As far back as I can remember, my mother always curled her hair. Way back, it was pin curls. Who remembers pin curls? Then she switched to rollers. Before she went anywhere, she had to "put her hair up."

When it opened in 1972,  the organization operated one halfway house in Portland. Today, it offers nearly two-dozen housing choices, from independent apartments to group homes and rooming houses throughout southern Maine.
