Bangor -- The Rotary Club of Bangor is scheduled to present its 6th annual Music Off Broadway production on Saturday, March 26 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, March 27 at 3 pm at Bangor High School’s Peakes Auditorium.  This year’s theme is America’s Bandstand.

DEDHAM, January 20 – Camp CaPella has been selected by the Maine Association of Nonprofits (MANP) as one of a dozen organizations to participate in the annual Maine Nonprofit Day in the Hall of Flags at the State House in Augusta from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

February 3rd at 1:30pm, take a trip around the solar system to meet the animated planets of our Solar System as they discuss what makes them so unique in “Our Sky Family,” for ages 5-9. This month's Maine Tweetup will be upstairs at Rivalries starting at 6pm on Thursday, 1/27/2011.

Tweetups are real live networking events for people using Twitter, the popular social media platform where users post short messages via their computer or mobile device.

Mainers on Twitter form a vibrant community, sharing their passion on everything from technology to cooking to sports to best methods to kill zombies.

Second Annual National Pie Day Celebration at Senior Center

DOWNTOWN BANGOR – The public is invited to celebrate National Pie Day with an “Enjoy a Slice” Pie Brunch, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Friday, January 21, at the Hammond Street Senior Center, Downtown Bangor.
Pie aficionados can relish the good ol’ days with a big slice of pie “just like grandma used to make” and a cup of coffee or tea for $2.00. Add a scoop of fresh homemade old fashion ice cream for just a $1 more.
In honor of National Pie Day, which is officially Sunday, January 23, members of the Senior Center are baking up a menu of pies that includes sweet potato, triple berry, apple, blueberry, pecan, pumpkin and even a couple sugar-free diabetic-friendly selections.
