Kahbang Announces New Festival Director

The KAHBANG Festival announced today the
appointment of Joshua Gass as its new Festival Director, replacing the organizations cofounder
Tim Lo who had served in the role since the events inception in 2009.

Lo steps back from an organization he helped bring into maturity, from a homegrown
passion project, to an event that has gained nation-wide attention as a discovery music
and arts festival. He welcomed the new appointment, “In the beginning, the original
group of KAHBANG founders set out to build something that did not exist here in Maine.
We wanted to showcase our home and we believed others throughout the country would
really enjoy that experience. I think we have accomplished that goal and I think it’s time
for KAHBANG to begin achieving new goals. I am really excited to see what new results
will come from new leadership.”
