17 YEAR OLD ARRESTED FOR DAMAGING POLICE CAR

On August 1, 2011 at about 930PM, Officer Kim Donnell was leaving the police station to resume her patrol duties when she was approached by a 17 year old female from Stetson, Maine who screamed at Donnell to take her jail. Officer Donnell was taken aback and asked what she was talking about. The 17 year old yelled again to just take her to jail over and over. Officer Donnell asked why she would want to be taken to jail and she yelled, “Because I broke your f----ing windows.” As Donnell walked to her police car she noticed the drivers’ side window smashed and glass fragments everywhere. The 17 year old continued to scream to be taken to jail when it was realized that the front windshield was broken in several places also.

The female juvenile, was transported to Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Emergency Room for an evaluation, then transported to the Penobscot County Jail and eventually authorized to be transported to Mountain View Juvenile Correctional Facility, charged with Class C Felony Aggravated Criminal Mischief. The damage estimate to the police car is approximately 2000.00 dollars.
