In spite of having seen Gone, Baby, Gone at least three times, it was only recently that a friend told me it was the 4th in a series of six crime thrillers by Dennis Lehane. I swear, I am not living under a rock, but how did I miss this for so long?! Common sense ain’t all that common. Sounds like something Patrick Kenzie might say, a "hard-boiled" private investigator in the very best of the tradition. Read more.....

17 YEAR OLD ARRESTED FOR DAMAGING POLICE CAR

On August 1, 2011 at about 930PM, Officer Kim Donnell was leaving the police station to resume her patrol duties when she was approached by a 17 year old female from Stetson, Maine who screamed at Donnell to take her jail. Officer Donnell was taken aback and asked what she was talking about. The 17 year old yelled again to just take her to jail over and over. Officer Donnell asked why she would want to be taken to jail and she yelled, “Because I broke your f----ing windows.” As Donnell walked to her police car she noticed the drivers’ side window smashed and glass fragments everywhere.
