Whether it is the newest version of the Baby-sitters Club in the neighborhood, or the Environmental Action campaign at their school, young people have the imagination, courage, and intelligence to develop and launch their own, unique entrepreneurial ideas.

When you’ve lived a long, full life, chances are you have the “stuff” to prove it. Packed away in the attic, strewn about the cellar and garage, scattered throughout your entire home. If you’re like most people, just the thought of having to deal with it is overwhelming, let alone actually tackling the project. This week I was fortunate to work with a great room of local nonprofits on the current state of social media and how nonprofits are utilizing these tools. At the end of the event, I heard from a few of the attendees on how surprised they were at some of the things they can do with social media, that they had never heard of before.
