BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A prestigious band stopped by Bangor High School for a little music lesson.

The United States Air Force Band of Liberty stopped by the high school for a clinic.

Four members of the 40 person band performed and gave some helpful tips to the students. The group--made up of all trombone players--focused on brass intstruments and how to play them effectively.

"We're pretty lucky," said BHS Band Director Scott Burditt. "We have a great auditorium to play in at Peakes Auditorium and it's a great opportunity, not only for the kids, but for mom and dad and all the friends who want to come and here some good music."

You'll have the chance to see the band play for yourself. There is a free concert Wednesday night at Bangor High School at 7 p.m. and Thursday night at Ellsworth High School, also at 7 p.m.
