Where's Wendy?

With the weather finally being nice, it felt good to get out in the sunshine and go for a nice walk. Bangor has many trails available to go for a walk which includes Essex Woods. Essex Woods is accessible from Watchmaker Street off of Essex Street. There is also a few geocaches here too. ;)

Prosecution rests in trial of Nathaneal Nightingale

BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) --- The prosecution has rested in the trial of a man from Burlington accused of killing two people back in 2009.

Maine State Police Detective Dale Keegan told a Penobscot County jury Thursday that 32-year-old Nathaneal Nightingale admitted to him that he killed 47-year-old Michael Miller and his wife Valerie. They were found shot to death inside their home on Tucker Ridge Road in Webster Plantation on November 28, 2009.

Authorities say Nightingale committed the crimes so he could rob the Millers. Keegan claimed on the stand that Nightingale told him that he accidentally shot Michael Miller while showing him a gun he was looking to pawn. In a recording of the police interview that was played to the jury, the defendant continued saying Valerie Miller turned around to find her husband dead and then Nightingale shot her on purpose.
